Britt Allcroft is hoping to introduce Thomas to the crib set, launching a new line of Thomas products for infants and toddlers called My First Thomas in North America.
Aimed at newborns to two-year-olds, the range has a softer color palette and includes a line of bedding by New York-based Quiltex comprised of newborn apparel, towels, blankets and wall hangings, all of which will be on shelves by June.
Also on-board is Orlando, Florida-based ABC Development for a range of infant feeding products, bath accessories and stroller toys, which will also be available in June.
New York’s Prestige Toys has signed to make a range of My First Thomas infant toys, including wrist and ankle rattles and soft musical toys. These products are slated to hit stores in October.
New York’s Random House Children’s Books is creating a range of My First books. The entire North American range is expected to be completed by spring 2001.
