The U.K.’s Just Licensing has signed Rennoc Australia as its exclusive toy distributor for product based on its Jellabies property down under. Australia-based Haven Licensing has been named sub-agent in the territory.

Japan’s Tohokushinsha Film has extended its merchandising and licensing rights to Carlton International Media’s Supermarionation Library, which includes series like Captain Scarlet, Stingray and Thunderbirds. Plans include a relaunch of Thunderbirds across product categories including play figures, vehicles, a gift line and a wide-ranging promotional campaign. A new Thunderbirds Web site is also in the works.

Scholastic Entertainment has inked its first licensing deal for School House Rock with apparel manufacturer Blue Grape, for a line of T-shirts based on the retro property.

Decode Entertainment has hit the international licensing trail with Angela Anaconda. U.K.-based agent Design Rights International has inked U.K.-based Angela Anaconda licensees Simon & Schuster for books, Danillo for greeting cards, Grosvenor for toiletries, Kinnerton for confectionery and Blueprint for stationery and novelties. DRI is expected to announce apparel and a major gift and toy licensee shortly. Meanwhile, Canadian licensing agent Studio Licensing has inked local licensees Sandylion for stickers and sticker accessories, Fun 4 All for dolls and keychains, Trends International for posters and calendars, Jay-Gur International for backpacks and Norben Products for novelties. Agents have also been confirmed for several countries in Europe and South America, along with Australia and Asia.

Twentieth Century Fox has signed an agreement with L.A.-based Manley Toy Quest for a line of Bart Simpson dress-up role-play sets.
