Hoping to build upon its steady infant goods business, FAO Schwarz plans to launch a new babies catalog this month. Titled FAO Baby, the catalog will feature information on high-end name-brand and private-label goods in the home furnishings, toy and apparel categories for newborns to three-year-olds. FAO will mail out copies of FAO Baby, which it will publish annually, to four million of its customers.
