UK-based distributor Media I.M. has signed several new deals for Belarus-based Digital Light Studio’s animated preschool series Sunny Bunnies in Canada and LatAm.

Canada’s DHX Television has picked up the first two seasons of the show for its Family Jr. and Télémagino channels. It will launch in July on the French- and English-language preschool networks, in support of new toys developed by Funrise Toys. The master toy partner for North America, Australia and New Zealand is launching the new products at major retailers in the fall.

Meanwhile, in LatAm, Brazilian pay-TV broadcaster GloboSat has picked up the first two seasons for its kids channel Gloobinho. The series is already available in Brazil on the Sunny Bunnies YouTube channel and on the PlayKids SVOD app.

Following the series’ success in the region, Brazil’s Vertical Licensing has signed on for a new exclusive licensing deal to release new toys, books and other products throughout 2019.

Aimed at three- to six-year-olds, Sunny Bunnies follows five bouncing balls of light as they go on adventures. The series has also recently been picked up by Disney Junior and Disney Channel in the US, along with Disney Channel EMEA earlier this year. The new deals bring the series’ reach to more than 160 territories.
