UPDATE: Following an update to the Kidscreen Awards page, PBS KIDS has emerged with 15 total nominations across 10 awards categories. 

The nominees for the 2026 Kidscreen Awards were unveiled today, and Disney Branded Television has far and away the most shortlisted entries this year, with a total of 22. 

A whole host of animated titles have catapulted the Mouse House into the lead, including The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder (Best Inclusivity), Phineas and Ferb (Best Animated Series – Kids) and Mickey and Minnie’s Christmas Carols (Best Holiday or Special Episode – Preschool). DBT also had a handful of entries that have racked up multiple nominations, with Kiff (five), Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires (four) and Out of My Mind (three).

Netflix is the next most-shortlisted company at 13 nominations, followed by JAM Media with six for BeddyByes alone and BBC Studios Kids & Family’s five. 

Still taking the world by storm, Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation’s KPop Demon Hunters is aiming to take home the gold against Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical (WildBrain, Peanuts) and The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist (DreamWorks Animation, Netflix) for Best One-Off, Special or TV Movie – Kids. 

This year also marks the debut of two new Best Roblox Experience categories. In the kids lane, Voldex’s original game Brookhaven will have big brand-led competition from Gabby’s Dollhouse Official (The Gang) and Bitesize Planet Planners (BBC Bitesize). And for preschoolers, My Carrots! : A Mittens and Pants Game (Windy Isle Entertainment) is facing off against Turbozaurs (Tale Wind Animation Studio). 

All of the nominees will move on to a final round of judging before the winners are announced and celebrated live at a special awards ceremony to be held during Kidscreen Summit 2026 (February 22 to 25) in San Diego.
