  • ABC Commercial has sold Ready, Steady, Wiggle!, Wiggle & Learn and Big Words, Small Stories to China’s UYoung, which will start streaming them on its local UKIDS platform. This deal aligns with a broader strategic focus at the Aussie pubcaster’s distribution unit to expand the export of domestic content in the APAC market.

  • Netflix has tapped Funko to create the first vinyl figures for KPop Demon Hunters. The range will feature five characters to start—the main trio from Huntr/X, plus Saja Boys leader Jinu and a figure of Derpy with Sussie. There’s also a limited-edition variation of Jinu with demon patterns planned for release.

  • Upstart faith-based SVOD Wonder Project has revealed programming highlights that will be available to stream when it launches on Prime Video in October. The lineup includes a few acquisitions with kid appeal, such as Mr. Bean and The Mysterious Benedict Society, a Disney+ show that was dropped from the streamer in 2023.

  • UK-based arts & crafts manufacturer Craft Buddy has picked up a new license for kawaii pop-culture brand Fuzzballs. The company will make crystal art kits for all ages based on the IP, which joins Wizarding World, Disney and Paddington in Craft Buddy’s licensing portfolio.
