Former Global Licensing Group brand director Steven Ekstract has reunited with GennComm and the Toy Association to launch a second edition of his Entertainment XTracks: The Future of Licensing executive summit.

The half-day licensing event will take place on September 10 at the Toy Association’s new Toy Building in El Segundo, coinciding with the LA Fall Previews toy market that runs from September 8 to 17. Designed for senior executives working in the toy, licensing and retail sectors, the XTracks program will feature content focused on identifying the biggest opportunities and challenges impacting the consumer products industry today.

Notable sessions include a keynote from Hasbro president and CEO Tim Kilpin on how the toyco unlocks more value in its portfolio of new and legacy brands, and a Q&A with IP lawyer David Schnider exploring how protection laws and monetization are changing with the emergence of AI. Kidult buying habits, experiential retail, optimizing brands for Gen Alpha, and navigating tariffs and global trade changes are also on deck as topics of discussion.

The summit will conclude with a cocktail reception for executives interested in continuing the conversation and forging new partnerships with leaders at Hasbro, Spin Master, Tetris, American Girl, Amazon and Netflix. Tickets are available for purchase now, and space is limited to 100 guests.
