- Fox Entertainment Studios has promoted Dana Tafoya-Cameron into an EVP role that will see her head up its animation subsidiary Bento Box Entertainment. She takes over from former Bento president Brett Coker, who announced his retirement earlier this summer. Previously serving as head of production, Tafoya-Cameron will now oversee the studio’s creative strategy and a growing project slate that includes teen animated series Bob’s Burgers, Hazbin Hotel and Duncanville.
- Disney Entertainment has hired former Netflix exec Tony Zameczkowski to lead its direct-to-consumer business in Asia-Pacific as GM and SVP. His initial focus will be to bolster Disney+ content and subscriptions throughout the region, which the Mouse House has earmarked as a key market for growth. Zameczkowski reports to Disney APAC president Luke Kang and Disney Entertainment DTC president Joe Earley. In addition to his run at Netflix, Zameczkowski has also held executive roles at YouTube and Warner Bros. International Television.
