The world of CoComelon is expanding once again with a new live-action series this fall.
Moonbug Entertainment has pulled back the curtain on The Melon Patch (pictured), a new educational series starring Ms. Appleberry—a teacher who appears in animated form in the animated CoComelon videos.
The Melon Patch is slated for a September 23 launch on YouTube, with each 25-minute episode dropping on a biweekly basis.
With plenty of music and surprise guests, the show will explore themes like art, storytelling, kid milestones, movement and other segments for preschool-aged viewers and families. Ms. Appleberry’s crew on the show include co-teachers like the art-loving Mr. Doodad, nature expert Mr. Acorn and dance coach Ms. Twist.
It’s the second live-action series for the CoComelon brand, following the spinoff series CoComelon Classroom (previously known as Melon Patch Classroom) that launched in fall 2024.
Moonbug has been busy expanding its flagship IP into new formats. Coming up next on the ever-growing slate is the franchise’s first theatrical feature due out in 2027 and a co-branded show in partnership with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty.
