Enhanced digital listings deliver Disney a 34% sales bump

Icecat will create Lilo & Stitch licensed product pages after a successful pilot program.
July 31, 2025

Following an impressive 34% revenue bump for a pilot program, Disney has expanded its agreement with Dutch e-commerce manager Icecat to co-develop customized listings for Lilo & Stitch licensed products.

Icecat specializes in crafting pages called product stories, which are displayed on a merchant’s online listing and feature enhanced product descriptions, character bios, additional recommended products, content trailers and artwork. The philosophy is that these elements help consumers feel more confident about making purchasing decisions—which increases the likelihood of a sale.

Disney tested Icecat’s product stories in a 2022 pilot program with Dutch toy retailer Intertoys that focused primarily on crafting pages for several characters from its core Marvel, Star Wars and original brands. The results of the case study were promising, with Disney reporting growth in revenue (34%), orders (18%), conversion (11%) and product page time (8%) that year.

While Disney is limiting the new Lilo & Stitch listings to European retailers, Icecat’s broader partner network includes major purveyors of kids products like Amazon, Walmart, TikTok and eBay. The company has also got similar product story agreements in place with The LEGO Group, Hasbro, Spin Master, Zuru and MGA Entertainment.
