POLL: Is Australia’s under-16 YouTube ban a good idea?

The government says it's to protect kids, but will this actually be good for them? Or will it hurt both children and the industry? Kidscreen is looking for your thoughts.
July 30, 2025

Starting on December 10, all Australian kids will be banned from YouTube until they’re 16 years old. YouTube Kids will still be available. The government says this move is to protect kids and families, but is a ban for that age range the right approach? Tell us what you think.

IMPORTANT: Any written comments you share in the form may be published and attributed to you by name and company. But voting in the poll is 100% anonymous.
