- Pocket.watch is diving into the market for selling content to train AI models by teaming up with Texas-based Troveo. As part of this deal, pocket.watch creator partners (pictured) including Ryan’s World, Toys and Colors and Love, Diana can opt in to have Troveo license their content to AI companies. According to a release, these deals have “creator-friendly terms” and are a way for pocket.watch and its partners to monetize while maintaining their ownership rights.
- London-based Toikido has signed Eolo Toys as the global master toy partner for its Bad Egg brand. Featuring punk-looking egg characters, Toikido launched the brand as an NFT collection in June 2024. Eolo, which also has Disney’s brands and TMNTin its licensing portfolio, will now expand it into a toy line that’s ready to present to retailers in 2026.
- It turns out there are a lot of ways to get to Sesame Street. Sesame Workshop is taking its iconic characters on a multi-city tour across the US this summer, starting July 27 and running into September. The first stop will be a Nascar event, but state fairs, zoos and multiple Sesame Street-themed days at MLB baseball events are also on deck. This Sesame Street Road Trip Across America campaign leads into the premiere of season 56 on Netflix and PBS KIDS later this year.
- The Harris Museum in Preston, England is bringing in Wallace & Gromit to help promote its reopening in the fall. The museum plans to run an exhibition called Wallace & Gromit in A Case at the Museum from September 28 to January 4. Visitors (350,000 a year, according to the museum) will be able to see original sketches, sets and interactive exhibits that give behind-the-scenes looks at Aardman’s animation techniques.
