- Funko has appointed board member Michael Lunsford (pictured) to serve as its interim CEO again in the wake of Cynthia Williams’ departure after just a year in the position. Lunsford stepped in to fill the same leadership gap when longtime CEO Brian Mariotti exited in 2023. This executive shakeup comes as Funko continues to navigate a challenging tariff-hit toy landscape characterized by price hikes and job cuts.
- Marlo Miazga is resigning from her role as president and executive producer for kids & family, unscripted and docs at Montreal-based Sphere Media (Project Rube). Miazga worked at the company for five years total, and was tapped to head up the kids & family unit when it was formed in 2023. With her exit, Judith Beauchemin—who was promoted to EVP of operations in May—will continue to oversee this division.
