- Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products has partnered with Krispy Kreme for three branded doughnuts (pictured) based on Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, plus a custom box featuring all three heroes. While this limited-time collab is launching today in the US, Krispy Kreme is also engaging with superhero fans by staging a stunt to coincide with San Diego Comic-Con (July 24 to 27), offering Krispy Kreme customers who “show some love for their favorite DC Super Hero” at its US stores a free doughnut with any purchase.
- Immersive trails are continuing to forge licensing deals, with a new set of Neverland trails launching this holiday season. Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity is expanding its partnership with event specialists Culture Creative and Sony-owned RG Live to create more walking trails based on legacy IP Peter Pan. (Thanks to a gift from author J.M. Barrie and a unique provision in UK copyright law, royalties generated by Peter Pan still go to GOSH in the UK, long after a typical copyright would have expired.) The companies rolled out a single Neverland trail in Oxfordshire last year—but this initial effort will now be expanded to include more indoor and outdoor trails in the UK (and talks are also underway for international editions). First up is an illuminated experience in London’s Kenwood House that will be open from November 21, 2025 to January 3, 2026.
