DEALS: PAW Patrol hotel rooms to open up at Chessington World of Adventures

Plus, Disney has renewed The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder for a fourth season, and TF1 Licensing will oversee consumer products for the upcoming Winx Club reboot.

  • Merlin Entertainments has expanded its theme park deal with Paramount Global to build five new PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms at its Chessington World of Adventures resort in the UK. Bookings will open to the public in October, ahead of the launch of the first PAW Patrol land in the UK next year. Each room is modeled after the series’ iconic Lookout Tower, outfitted with a periscope, control panel and vehicle beds. 

 

  • Disney+ has renewed The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder for a fourth season that will debut sometime next year. This announcement comes ahead of next month’s streaming debut of season three, which will see Penny Proud and her friends leave Emilyville to embark on new international adventures. 

 

  • Winx Club brand owner Rainbow has appointed TF1 Licensing to represent the fantasy-adventure series’ upcoming CG-animated reboot with a new consumer products program. Master toy partner Giochi Preziosi will roll out the first doll range for Winx Club: The Magic is Back in time for Christmas this year, while TF1 hunts for new licensees in apparel, accessories, publishing and collectibles to expand the property’s reach worldwide. 

 

  • Epic Games has inked a new deal to add PUMA shoe designs to the Fortnite Kicks digital storefront. While in this game environment, players can outfit their virtual characters with a range of sneakers by purchasing one of four designs with Fortnite’s V-Bucks in-game currency. New drops will occur on an ongoing basis, and Epic has already inked similar Kicks partnerships with Nike, Adidas, Vans and Crocs.
