DEALS: Jazwares adds Monster Jam trucks to its BLDR lineup

Plus Lingokids brings Animaj's Pocoyo brand into its Playlearning app, and Toikido is developing a new consumer products range inspired by YouTuber jmancurly.

  • Jazwares is adding monster trucks to the licensing portfolio of its BLDR construction sets brand, inking a new deal with Feld Entertainment for Monster Jam. The first sets to come out of this partnership will roll out to retailers worldwide next fall, featuring brick versions of popular vehicles from the touring show and a dedicated Monstruction line for preschoolers. 

 

  • Preschool character Pocoyo has rolled out on the Lingokids Playlearning app, thanks to a newly signed deal with brand owner Animaj. An initial batch of licensed interactive games and episodes launched earlier this week on the platform, and the Lingokids team will be busy designing more experiences featuring the character in the coming months. This marks the second time Lingokids has partnered with a third-party IP, following the launch of Blippi-branded games on the app last year. 

 

  • Toikido has partnered with jmancurly (Julian Elchakieh) to manufacture and distribute a new toy line inspired by the Gen Alpha-skewing YouTuber’s content next year. These products will span categories including figures, plush, collectibles, apparel and gaming integrations. Elchakieh joined YouTube in 2013 and has amassed more than 1.7 billion views with his music and VR gaming videos.
