  • PBS KIDS has renewed Fred Rogers Productions’ tentpole preschool series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood for an eighth season, which will include 10 episodes and two half-hour specials. Premiering next year, it will feature the first appearance of Daniel’s adopted cousin, to introduce the concept of adoption to preschoolers. In addition, FRP will produce new Daniel Tiger-branded games for the PBS KIDS Games app, tied to the new season’s content.

  • Hasbro has expanded its partnership with WildBrain CPLG to let the licensing agency represent its brands in France. The companies inked their first agreement five years ago, and WildBrain CPLG currently manages consumer products programs for Transformers, Peppa Pig, Littlest Pet Shop and Monopoly across Turkey, India and much of Europe.

  • Aardman Animations has partnered with Outright Games to develop a new console video game called Chicken Run: Eggstraction. Launching in 4, the action-stealth game picks up after the events of 2023 feature film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, with an original story that will see the IP’s feathered heroes infiltrate multiple farms to save their friends before they’re turned into nuggets.

  • Disney is launching two of its 2D-animated co-productions with Titmouse on its streamer next month. Season two of Kiff (18 x 22 minutes) will join the Disney+ lineup on July 23, followed closely by sci-fi adventure series StuGo (20 x 22 minutes) on July 30. In February, Kiff was also renewed for a third season by Disney Branded TV.
