Licensing International’s (LI) members have elected five new directors to join its board and support the multi-billion-dollar licensing industry.
The new members joining the board on July 1 for three-year terms are Gaye Dean (pictrured left), Miraculous Corp’s North America VP of retail development; Clara Fort, VP of global brand licensing for Eastman Kodak Company; Vincent Leoni, partner at Miller Kaplan; Chang Liu, head of inbound licensing at Pop Mart; and Meredith Norrie (pictured right), Mattel’s VP and head of global licensing and consumer products partnerships.
LI president Maura Regan says the addition of these five new board members will help provide the organization with the fresh perspective and skill sets necessary to strengthen the licensing industry across every product category and territory. She also thanked outgoing board members Casey Collins, Javier Garza, Michael Connolly, Alexandra Heyd, Kalle Törmä, Tanya Isler and Marc Schneider for their service and dedication.
Meanwhile, RWS Global chief growth officer Veronica Hart will continue in her role as LI’s board chairperson alongside vice chair Milin Shah, who also serves as CRO and general counsel of CultureFly and Isaac Morris.
