  • France Télévisions has commissioned Paris-based Miyu Productions’ upcoming animated series Claudy (pictured). This 52 x 13-minute comedy is currently in production for a 2027 premiere. It focuses on young Claudy, who lives in the clouds with a group that controls the weather, but instead of focusing on that job, she finds ways to have fun instead. Luce Cote-Collisson and Lucie Rouxel created this breezy 2D-animated series. Serious Kids has come on board to handle the six- to 10-skewing show’s global distribution.

  • The Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) has teamed up with animation school GOBELINS Paris to launch a training program to help emerging Taiwanese creators develop original children’s animation IPs. GOBELINS will design and lead the Create Your Own IP International Animation Workshop, which will cover storytelling, visual development, character and world design, and pitching strategies. Some of the projects that come out of this workshop will be featured in a Taiwan Spotlight pitching session at MIFA 2026, with the goal of securing funding and partners. TAICCA and GOBELINS secured this partnership at Annecy this week.
