London-based distributor Meta Media Entertainment has brokered several new international sales for 2D-animated preschool series Rookie Robot Explores the World, which has a third season currently in production.

Co-produced by Austria Sine Lege Films and Leiss Postproduction, the show’s 78 x three-minute episodes revolve around a robot who explores the world and discovers new things. Season three should be completed by Q2 2026.

Disney+ has picked up all three seasons to stream in Europe, while Baby First TV (US and LatAm), Momli (Poland), Toon Goggles (North America), Kartoon Channel! (North America) and Yoboho (YouTube worldwide) opted to buy just seasons one and two for now. And Knowledge Network (Canada), which previously licensed season one, came back for season two.

South Korea’s Daekyo TV premiered Rookie Robot in 2021, and Meta Media has previously sold it to NRK (Norway), ERR (Estonia) and ORF (Austria).
