  • Kartoon Studios has tapped Toon Media Networks president Todd Steinman (pictured) to oversee its Kartoon Channel business worldwide. The announcement comes on the heels of Paul Robinson informing the company last week that he would be stepping down as Kartoon Channel president in mid-June to focus on the creative side of the kids entertainment industry. Steinman will add Robinson’s duties to his current remit, in addition to managing the US-based Frederator Networks, Ameba and Kartoon Channel! streamers.

  • Hallmark Media chief strategy and culture officer Sabrina Wiewel is transitioning into a new role as EVP of Crayola Studios, with a remit to build out the division’s kids content strategy. Wiewel previously helped develop and launch the arts & crafts company’s content arm in 2023.

  • BBC Studios Productions Australia has expanded its leadership team with two new hires to spearhead production and branding. Former Amazon and Fremantle exec Scott Hartley has joined as head of production for the studio’s scripted unit and will focus initially on growing the drama slate. And Amber Brown is taking on a director of partnerships, digital and brands role that will see her work with commissioners to create new business and programming opportunities.
