- CAKE has brought in Anna Pokorska (pictured) as its new sales manager for Italy, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey and Israel. Reporting to MD Dominic Gardiner, her catalogue encompasses titles such as Angry Birds, Total Drama Island, Lucas the Spider and Talking Tom: Suddenly Super. Before joining CAKE, Pokorska was SVP of sales at family film studio GFM Animation for two years, serving as an international sales and co-production manager at Wizart before that.
- Sony Pictures Animation has promoted Damien de Froberville from VP of production and operations to president. A former Netflix animation studio head and GM of DreamWorks India, he will oversee the studio’s slate, working with SPA president Kristine Belson to manage upcoming films such as Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (2027) and Kpop Demon Hunters (June 2025). Prior to joining Sony in 2023, de Froberville worked as an independent producer with Illumination and Netflix as clients.
