Composition Media has signed on as Lingokids' global licensing agent, and Echo Media is developing an animated series for Twinkle Teal Entertainment's Nebulous Stars franchise.

  • Lingokids has appointed Composition Media as the exclusive global licensing agent for its popular edtech platform. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Composition will initially focus on forging partnerships with toycos, publishers and apparel manufacturers that will be the foundation of a full-range consumer products program. More than eight million users interact with the Lingokids app every month, and half of them are based in the US. 

 

  • Twinkle Teal Entertainment has partnered with Canadian studio Echo Media to co-produce an animated series for its flagship IP Nebulous Stars. This fantasy lifestyle brand debuted in 2017 and spans 17 novels, a magazine and a range of arts & crafts products for six- to 12-year-old girls. The series in development will focus on several young girls who team up with mythical creatures to solve problems in the Nebulous World. 

 

  • ZDF Studios has licensed 17 of its kids shows to Toronto-based digital broadcast agency VIEWED, which will manage their distribution, channel operations and monetization on YouTube. VIEWED also offers audience development, rights management and digital advertising programs for brand owners looking to drive more views for their shows on YouTube. 

 

  • Bandai Namco has teamed up with Peanuts Worldwide to develop a Tamagotchi Nano featuring Snoopy and other iconic members of the Peanuts gang. The new Peanuts Tamagotchi will roll out to retailers in the US and Japan on July 12, packaged with a Snoopy dog house case to protect the device. Bandai has done similar Tamagotchi crossovers with Star Wars, Marvel, Hello Kitty and Jurassic Park in the past.
