  • Bulldog Licensing has brought in veteran consumer products executive Laury Howat (pictured) as its new retail licensing manager. Howat will manage key account relationships for the agency, as well as spearheading deals in product categories including apparel, footwear, accessories and homeware. She has more than 15 years of experience in the licensing industry, having served as Disney’s UK softlines lead from 2014 to 2017 and as a senior category manager for apparel and accessories at Warner Bros. Consumer Products UK before that (2006 to 2013).

  • The Quarto Group has hired former Penguin Random House publishing director Juliet Matthews to oversee both of its kids imprints—Frances Lincoln Children’s Books and Ivy Kids Eco—as publisher. Matthews will join the UK-based company on July 7, reporting directly to associate group publishing director for children’s books Peter Marley. She’s coming off a seven-year stint at HarperCollins Children’s Books, where she served as publisher (2019 to 2025) and interim publishing director for media and brands (2018 to 2019).

  • Kazoo Films has tapped ex-Studiocanal SVP Michael Guerrero to head up its marketing department. He’ll initially focus on working with CEO Andrew Baker to develop theatrical release and marketing campaigns for the studio’s 2025 slate, starting with upcoming CG-animated family feature Night At The Zoopocalypse. Kazoo has also just picked up the UK film rights to HitPig!, a 2024 CG-animated pic produced by Aniventure in the UK.
