- Archstone Entertainment has secured worldwide rights to Saurus City and will present the film to international buyers at Cannes later this month (May 13 to May 24). This CG-animated family feature—about a disgraced knight who must save a dino kingdom—is produced by Suspended Animation Studios, 405 Productions and Bonfire Entertainment.
- Building on the trend of mealtime licensing opportunities for kids IPs, BBC Studios is teaming up with Bush’s Beans for a Bluey-branded edition of its canned baked beans—a food item that has been featured in several episodes of the preschool toon. Bush’s Bluey Baked Beans will hit retail in the US later this month.
- WBD Global Consumer Products and SEGA of America have tapped Jakks Pacific to produce a new toy line based on the recent DC x Sonic comic book crossover series that began in March and will wrap in July. The toys are slated to roll out this fall, with the range including action figures, vehicles and plushies of characters from Sonic the Hedgehog and the Justice League.
