Former Paramount/Nick licensing exec Glenda Beltran turns consultant

Ten Toes Down is open for business, providing strategic guidance and support services to IP owners, manufacturers and emerging brands.

Licensing industry veteran Glenda Beltran (pictured right) has launched a new firm called Ten Toes Down Consulting to help IP owners, manufacturers and emerging brands navigate the consumer products market.

Beltran has more than two decades of experience in the licensing sector and most recently served as Paramount’s licensing director of global collector toys (2018 to 2022). Prior to that, she held multiple executive roles at Nickelodeon (licensing director for preschool and girls and senior manager preschool toys and games) and New York’s Madame Alexander Doll Company (marketing manager and key accounts manager).

Out of the gate, Ten Toes Down is joining forces with Anita Castellar’s (pictured left) FanGirl Consulting and Brand Management banner to co-develop new licensing programs for clients. Like Beltran, Castellar has ample kids brand experience, having previously worked at Disney as a global merchandise strategy manager (2016 to 2018), and as a Star Wars brand manager at Hasbro (2009 to 2011).

Both Beltran and Castellar will attend Licensing Expo in Las Vegas later this month to meet with new potential clients.
