- Banijay Kids & Family Distribution has several new content deals with international broadcast partners including Mediacorp (Chimera Keepers: Adventures with Incredible Creatures and MiniHeroes of the Forest), MBC Group (Shasha & Milo season one) and BBC Children’s (The Game Catchers season two). Totally Spies! has also been sold to DeA Kids (seasons one through six), Tiji (seasons five and six), Mediacorp (season seven) and Radio Canada (season seven).
- Italian pubcaster RAI has acquired teen live-action drama series Prisma (Beta/Cross Production), Rumors (Mothership Entertainment) and The Campsite (NRK Super) from German distributor Beta Film.
- Princess Sam Entertainment has appointed Nerd Agency to represent its tentpole fantasy franchise Tara Duncan across Ukraine. In addition to overseeing the brand’s licensing program, Nerd Agency will also work with a local publisher to roll out Ukrainian versions of Tara Duncan’s 13 original novels later this year.
- Universal Pictures has expanded its licensing agreement with UK plush manufacturer Posh Paws to encompass the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon and Jurassic World Rebirth, the dino franchise’s seventh film title. New HTTYD products will hit UK retailers on April 28, followed later in the year by plush renditions of Rebirth‘s Titanosaurus and mutated T-Rex.
