- WildBrain has inked a new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery LatAm that will see its 2D-animated comedy series Summer Memories (pictured, A&N Productions, Aircraft Pictures and Yeti Farm Creative) roll out regionally on Cartoon Network and Max later this year. The license covers 40 x 11-minute regular episodes, plus 20 four-minute shorts—all of which explore the crazy summer adventures of best friends Jason and Ronnie.
- Millimages has expanded and extended its toy, gift and beauty licensing agreement with Heathside Trading for Molang, making the UK-based company the brand’s global master toy partner for two additional years. Beginning in 2026, Heathside will take over all toy production and distribution across the EMEA, the Americas, Australia and New Zealand.
- Hasbro’s PJ Masks characters will make an appearance on early childhood learning platform Kiddopia later this year in a series of exclusive mini-games, problem-solving challenges and storytelling experiences.
- SLR Productions is bringing its 2018 holiday special Guess How Much I Love You – An Enchanting Easter back into Australian theaters through a new deal with Event Cinemas. The 2D-animated one-off will be featured in 33 Event locations on March 20, 27 and April 19, as well as in 11 Birch, Carroll & Coyle locations. And Target is rolling out a new sleepwear range for both kids and adults to tie into the spring holiday and big-screen event.
- Crunchyroll has acquired exclusive global streaming rights to Bones Films’ upcoming anime series Gachiakuta, which will premiere in July. It revolves around a teenage boy who is wrongfully convicted of murder and exiled from his floating colony to battle vicious monsters on Earth.
