- BBC Studios is expanding Bluey’s presence at supermarkets with a pair of new FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) partners. Kellogg’s will kick things off in May by rolling out the brand’s first breakfast cereal across the UK, followed by a range of Bluey kids snacks from Hero in September.
- Finsbury Food Group has renewed its licensing agreement with Universal Studios to make licensed celebration cakes for kids. This deal extension also includes a new Wicked license, which Finsbury will leverage with a cake range that will roll out in September, ahead of Wicked: For Good‘s theatrical debut later this year.
- Konami Cross Media NY has inked deals with French toycos Plastoys and Kettei Art to manufacture and distribute a new range of collectibles, figures and statues inspired by the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchise. Products will hit retail throughout the EMEA region later this year, featuring a wide range of duelists from the series, including Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki and Zane Truesdale.
- Toon Pocket has forged a new partnership with Story Critters to offer a range of consulting services to studios in need of kids TV development help. Toon Pocket will focus on scriptwriting and editing, while Story Critters will head up cross-culture storytelling and adaptations.
