- South Korea’s ROI Visual has appointed Fauna Entertainment as the Turkish licensing agent for its Robocar POLI (pictured) animated series. Fauna will take care of licensing and YouTube channel management for the 120-episode preschool series about a team of rescue vehicles helping those in danger. It was commissioned by EBS and premiered in 2011.
- McFarlane Toys has signed a licensing deal with Paramount Consumer Products to make a line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures. Working with IDW Publishing, the toys will also come with a re-printed TMNT comic book when they launch this fall.
- Hong Kong’s ZURU Toys (which was originally located in New Zealand) is racing into the trending world of F1 with a sponsorship deal to brand Kiwi driver Liam Lawson’s helmet this season (March 14 to December 7).
- Rebel Girls is stepping up to the plate in a new partnership with Athletes Unlimited Softball League to produce and distribute a digital series about the sport and its players.
