- Fred Rogers Productions’ Alma’s Way (pictured) has scored a third-season renewal from PBS KIDS. Produced in association with Pipeline Studios, the next batch of 15 half-hour eps in this 2D-animated preschool series about a young Puerto Rican girl living in the Bronx will tackle tough topics (such as navigating the loss of a beloved neighbor) and feature a special musical segment inspired by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
- Disney Branded Television has announced a season-five greenlight for CG-animated preschool series Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends from Marvel Studios Animation. The show’s fourth season is scheduled to launch on Disney Jr. this summer. Spidey has been a ratings success for the Mouse House, ranking as the third most-watched show among preschoolers in 2024 across its linear channels and streaming platforms. It even inspired a similar Iron Man-led series concept (Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends), which will launch on Disney Jr. and Disney+ this year.
