A Wiggles co-founder collaborates with LyricFind Kids and Friendly Bounce for a new song, and Craft Buddy is making crystal art from Care Bears.

  • LyricFind Kids is collaborating with The Wiggles co-founder and original Red Wiggle Murray Cook (pictured) on a new children’s song called Swimming Down Below. Launching on March 5, the single will be accompanied by an animated video produced by Toronto’s Friendly Bounce Productions. 

 

  • Craft Buddy has expanded its portfolio with a new Care Bears license from Cloudco Entertainment. The England-based toyco will turn the iconic bears into crystal art figures and collectibles for kids and adults that are set to roll out to retailers in the UK later this fall. 

 

  • Disney is teaming up with the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis on a new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse exhibit that’s set to open later this week. Running from February 22 through September 1, this experience features several activities for kids and families, including going on an adventure with Pluto, baking pretend cupcakes with Minnie, and inventing a new bubble-making machine with Donald Duck. Disney says it plans to take the exhibit on tour to other museums after closing in Indiana. 

 

  • Kadokawa has acquired the Japanese CG animation studio Chiptune for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2012 as 8-Bit Rocket, Chiptune is best known for supporting anime productions—including BLUELOCK and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation—through background art, coloring, editing and special effects services.
