- BBC Kids & Family has acquired the international distribution rights to Magic Light Pictures’ CG-animated comedy adventure series Zog (52 x 11 minutes). In addition to hunting for new broadcast partners, the Kids & Family division is also tasked with developing a consumer products program for the IP in the US.
- Liquid Rock Entertainment has secured a wave of new broadcasters to air Magicbox’s CG-animated superhero series SuperThings: Rivals of Kaboom, Kazoom Power throughout Europe later this year. New partners for the 26 x seven-minute series include Gulli (France), Cartoonito (Eastern Europe, Benelux, Baltic regions) and Panda (Portugal). A second season of the toon is in development, and a feature film is in production.
- The Children’s Kingdom has inked a deal with France-based prodco Amuse Animation to manage the distribution of its CG-animated YouTube series Zenon the Farmer throughout China. As part of the agreement, Amuse will produce a Mandarin dub of the show to unlock new broadcasting opportunities while securing sales for the existing English series.
