PAW Patrol creator Keith Chapman is crafting a new CG-animated series titled Bravo Squad that teaches preschoolers about safety awareness and emergency services.

Keith Chapman Productions inked a co-production deal with Germany’s Toon2Tango and UK-based Factory Rights for the new series and also for a range of online shorts for older children that starts production next year. The partners aim to show preview episodes to potential broadcasters in 2028.

Bravo Squad follows the adventures of police cadets Oscar Bravo and Juliet Tango, who cooperate with cadets from fire, ambulance and other rescue services to keep the citizens and animals of Drama Town safe after crimes occur. Each episode will also see the cadets enlist the help of police mechanic Mike Foxtrot, who collects evidence to help the squad find out who is behind each of the episode’s criminal acts.

The partners are bullish about the licensing potential of the IP, which sees the characters using a range of support vehicles, renewable-energy cars and nifty gadgets that can be translated into new toys and consumer products.
