Deals in Brief – February 5, 2025

Cloudco's Care Bears are joining Stumble Guys for a new game takeover this month, and Kartoon Studios is bringing a recut version of its 2024 Roblox game show to UK theaters in April.

  • Cloudco Entertainment has partnered with game developer Scopely for the Care Bears’ first appearance in Stumble Guys. Kicking off on Valentine’s Day, this game takeover will challenge players to collect Grumpy, Cheer, Funshine, Tenderheart and Good Luck Bear avatars, as well as offering them a branded victory animation and two emotes to use in-game. 

 

  • Kartoon Studios has inked a deal with UK movie theater chain Vue Cinemas to debut a recut version of its Roblox game show Kidaverse Roblox Rumble 2 on the big screen starting April 19. Kartoon Channel’s Gaming Challenge UK (85 minutes) follows along with six kids competing in various Roblox games to win prizes and be crowned as the ultimate champion. 

 

  • The Wiggles are teaming up with ABC Commercial to launch a new TV special called Wiggle Up, Giddy Up! later this year that’s designed to tie into a same-name country album the musical group announced last month. Due out on March 7, it will feature The Wiggles singing along with recording artists including Dolly Parton and Orville Peck, and ABC Commercial is planning to shop the special to buyers next week at Kidscreen Summit in San Diego. 

 

  • Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products is staging the return of Butterbeer Season with a new range of Harry Potter products in development with several of its licensees. These limited-time Butterbeer snacks and scented items will drop at retailers worldwide in March, April and May, including SKUs from Goldfish (crackers), Keebler (cookies), Hershey’s (chocolate), MINISO (candles and fragrances), Running Press (mugs) and Skinnypop (popcorn).
