- AMC Networks Central Europe has licensed the first four seasons of ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks (104 x 22 minutes) from PGS Entertainment in a four-year deal. It will air the CG-animated series produced by Bagdasarian Productions and Mikros Animation IP in more than a dozen European territories later this year, including Hungary and Romania.
- ITV has picked up the UK rights to broadcast and stream 2D-animated series Badjelly (13 x 22 minutes) from WildBrain. Produced by Mukpuddy Animation, Cantilever Media and Sphere Media, the toon is about two young siblings in pursuit of their cow, who has been kidnapped by magical creatures.
- The Pokémon Company International and sports media conglomerate Overtime have joined forces to launch a new collection of Pokémon-branded basketball jerseys and lifestyle items that are due out at retail on February 27. But a couple of weeks before that, players on Overtime Elite’s basketball league teams will hit the court wearing these licensed jerseys as part of a Pokémon Playoff game series.
