Canada’s Pipeline Studios (Alma’s Way) has partnered with Crayola Studios to co-produce a new CG-animated series called School of WhichCraft. Aimed at four- to six-year-olds, this 52 x 11-minute concept was co-created by Evan Baily (LazyTown), and Shea Fontana (Monster High) has been brought in to develop it further and serve as showrunner.

School of WhichCraft revolves around a group of eight-year-old kids who use a little magic to amp up their creative pursuits—be it art, music, dance, etc. They also navigate an endless string of hijinks that seem to come hand in hand with attending a wizarding school, such as riding a flock of origami cranes, or trying to capture painted animals that have escaped from their canvases.

Pipeline will handle the animation, and both Baily and Fontana are attached as executive producers, along with Jane McGregor; Pipeline CEO Luis Lopez; and Rick Glankler and Kerry Crowley from Crayola Studios.

Crayola’s content arm is also busy co-producing Pablo: Boy Meets School and spearheading a multi-format revival of the Rainbow Brite IP.
