As raging wildfires rip across Los Angeles County, the toy industry is mobilizing to help with ongoing relief efforts.

As reported by The Toy Book, industry org The Toy Foundation and its logistics partner World Vision have shipped two truckloads of essential goods to the Los Angeles Dream Center. These supplies include water, face masks, food, bedding and toys for children.

MGA Entertainment’s CEO Isaac Larian announced two days ago on LinkedIn that his company is prepared to assist anyone affected by the destruction, calling for the industry to come together to support one another.

Jazwares’ chief brand officer Jeremy Padawer posted on X earlier this week that he lost his house to fires in the Pacific Palisades. Thankfully, Padawer’s family and pets were evacuated safely, and he thanked  LA firefighters, police and first responders for their heroic service as they continue to battle the flames.

At press time, the five active wildfires spanning LA had scorched more than 35,000 acres of land and destroyed 10,000-plus homes and businesses. At least 10 people have died, and upwards of 180,000 others have been forced to evacuate their homes.
