  • Fred Rogers Productions and 9 Story Brands are expanding the Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood licensing program with sensory play kits (Meemzy Magic), bamboo kids apparel (Soulbaby), diapering products (Kinder Cloth) and a calming corner kit with SEL-based activities (Gifts of Joy). The team has also renewed partnerships with existing licensees, including Skip Hop (toddler products) and Mighty Mojo (toys/games).

  • Mexico’s Demente Animation Studios is teaming up with LA-based Meteor 17 (record producer Spencer Proffer’s shingle) to develop a slate of animated specials adapting Meteor 17’s kids books. The books use classic songs like “American Pie” and “Vincent” (“Starry, Starry Night”) by Don McLean and Patsy Cline’s “Walking After Midnight” as the basis for their stories.

  • YuMe Toys is expanding its Hello Kitty and Friends collectible range (pictured) with a new wave of products in partnership with UK/Ireland distributor Bandai UK. Due out next spring, the range will include new blind box figurines, three new keychains (including a bracelet-inspired style) and a bedside light.

  • Thrilljoy—former Funko chief Brian Mariotti’s new venture—has inked an exclusive retail deal to launch its pop culture collectibles at Hot Topic and BoxLunch stores in the US. First up is a Thrilljoy Pix! range that will hit select stores in December, with a range of products including a licensed Beetlejuice collectible.
