Erin Morris joins WildBrain in a newly created global franchise and retail role, and The Toy Association has recruited an ex-Hasbro exec to oversee policy, safety, ethics and consumer outreach.

  • WildBrain has brought in Erin Morris to serve as its first-ever VP of strategic global franchise and retail. Based in LA and coming off a stint as head of global consumer products and brand development at Hidden Pigeon Company, Morris reports to Tim Erickson (EVP of Peanuts Worldwide and WildBrain Brands). Her remit is to expand business for key franchises including Strawberry Shortcake and Teletubbies, and to work with WildBrain CPLG and the in-house content creation and audience engagement teams to develop 360-degree franchise strategies. Now reporting to Morris, Elizabeth Litten Miller (VP of franchise strategy) will continue to head up marketing strategy for WildBrain’s brands. 

 

  • The Toy Association has hired Kathrin Belliveau as chief policy officer. She starts with the trade org on November 18, and is in charge of regulatory affairs, toy safety, ethics and consumer outreach. Belliveau’s background is in corporate social responsibility, and she most recently managed corporate affairs at Hasbro as an EVP and chief purpose officer.
