Marion Edwards, Jodie Morris and Chris Rose team up

Creative Sprouts seeks to give kids content creators a leg up in perfecting their pitches and turning their budding IPs into commercial successes.

Kids industry veterans Marion Edwards, Jodie Morris and Chris Rose have teamed up to help kids content creators develop their brands through a new consulting joint-venture called Creative Sprouts.

The partners’ collective experience spans every stage of IP-building (from development through commercialization), and their goal is to help creative clients get their projects off the ground and break through in a fragmented market, filling what they see as a knowledge gap in the industry.

Working out of London (Edwards and Morris) and Manchester (Rose), Creative Sprouts is looking to help animation and live-action creators located anywhere in the world craft the perfect pitch for their developing projects, and map out smarter strategies for distribution and brand discoverability. The team is offering flexible collaboration models, including half- and full-day workshops (conducted remotely or in-person) and longer-term support. Creatives who are interested in exploring options can reach out to the team at wearecreativesprouts@gmail.com.

With 30-plus years of experience, Edwards was an executive producer on Moominvalley and previously worked as a VP of production at HIT Entertainment. Morris is a former chief content and audiences officer at Acamar Films (Bing) and has also spent time working in digital roles at Beano Studios and Channel 4. And Rose was a commissioning editor at ABC Australia before joining Paramount as a VP of production and development for kids & family.

All three plan to continue their careers as independent media consultants, while also working together under the Creative Sprouts umbrella.
