Stumble Guys developer Scopely and its master toy partner PMI Kids World are expanding their partnership with Mattel to create a range of Stumble Guys x Barbie co-branded products.
Later this month, PMI will distribute the first-ever crossover toy line for the Stumble Guys brand to retailers worldwide, and these limited-edition products are launching exclusively at Walmart in the US. The collection recreates the Stumbleverse versions of Barbie, Ken and game mascot Mr. Stumble as new action figures, plush, blind boxes and six-figure collectible playsets.
To coincide with the toy launch and build hype at retail, Scopely will bring back its Barbie Dream Dash course to Stumble Guys for a limited time. This game level featuring five branded avatars originally ran for one month in June 2023 as part of Scopely’s second collaboration with Mattel. Players were charged with racing against the clock to collect all of Barbie’s favorite items.
PMI picked up master toy rights to Scopely’s Stumble Guys battle royale party game last October, and has since launched two waves of SKUs including action figures, collectibles, clip-on plush and keychains. The products recreate the look and feel of the game, which sees up to 32 players duke it out online in races, battles and challenges to be the last person left standing.
The Stumble Guys game has been downloaded more than 600 million times on mobile, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch since it launched in 2020.
