- France’s TF1 and Italian broadcaster RAI have acquired preschool fantasy series Tulipop Tales (52 x seven minutes) to launch later this year. IP owner Tulipop Studios (Iceland) and Italy’s Animation Band produce this toon about a group of woodland creatures living in a magical island forest.
- Universal Pictures Content Group has sold Lupus Films’ The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland to Prime Video and Hulu in the US (launching November 15) with Sky Cinema launching it on December 13 in the UK, where Sky Original is the distributor. This 2D-animated holiday musical is based on a 2019 bestseller written by Carys Bexington and published by Macmillan Children’s Books.
- US restaurant chain Ono Hawaiian BBQ has partnered with Disney on a Moana 2 QSR promotion. Starting on November 13, the Hawaiian-inspired Ono Keiki Meal for kids will be revamped and sold in collectible/reusable lunch bags branded with one of three designs from the movie sequel, which is due out in theaters on November 27.
