- Pluto TV has partnered with WildBrain to launch the world’s first Pokémon FAST channel on October 22, offering more than 1,000 episodes from the first 22 seasons of this iconic anime series. To sweeten the deal, WildBrain will also launch FAST channels for Inspector Gadget and Strawberry Shortcake on Pluto’s platform the same day.
- Brands & Rights 360 has struck an exclusive agreement to represent Globo’s live-action kids catalogue worldwide, focusing initially on mystery series Blue Building Detectives (300 x 20 minutes), comedy Game Crashers (154 x 24 minutes) and musical drama Gaby Star (124 x 20 minutes).
- McDonald’s Japan has teamed up with Toei Animation to launch a new Happy Meal program for Pretty Cure. Kicking off today, the campaign features replica wands, paired bracelets, commuter passes and hand mirrors from the franchise’s 21st series iteration Wonderful Pretty Cure! (50 x 22 minutes).
- In a third partnership with Gamefam, Moose Toys has brought its Heroes of Goo Jit Zu toy line into Roblox. The toyco announced its intention to adapt the brand as a new animated series with Man of Action Entertainment last week, and now Gamefam will integrate Goo Jit Zu into its Weapon Fighting Simulator (more than 498 million plays) and Easy Obby (more than 1.3 billion plays) games this week, allowing players to complete crossover quests, play with new weapons and unlock licensed rewards for their online avatars.
