  • CosmoBlue Media has hired Levent Gültan (pictured left) to serve as the new CEO of kids e-learning platform and streamer Macademia, which it acquired last month. He takes over from co-founder Douglas Lloyd, who will stay on as a consultant in the short term to oversee Gültan’s transition and provide strategic guidance. Prior to joining CosmoBlue, Gültan worked in media and telecom roles as chief commercial and strategy officer for Kino Polska TV, managing director of Germany’s Mediakraft Networks, and GM of Turkish ISP Magnet Digital.

  • Two Daughters Entertainment has tapped former STX Entertainment co-founding president Sophie Watts (pictured right) to serve as a board member and non-executive director. She will advise the UK animation studio about expanding its operations in the US and growing its tentpole franchise Moley. Watts also serves as a strategic advisor to Walmart, social media platform Vero and Black-culture streamer Mansa.
