  • France Télévisions has greenlit a Grizzy & The Lemmings spinoff series for preschoolers called Baby Lemmings (pictured). Paris-based HARI will deliver 78 x seven-minute episodes to run on Okoo and France 4 in 2025/2026, and the CG-animated show has also been pre-ordered by Warner Bros. Discovery (for channels in EMEA, South/Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Germany’s Super RTL. Grizzy & The Lemmings is airing in 200 territories worldwide and is one of the most-watched animated series on Okoo and Super RTL’s Toggo kids channel.

  • In other WBD news, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and SEGA of America have teamed up to publish a five-issue comic book series that will bring the Justice League and Sonic the Hedgehog together for the first time. With cover dates ranging from March 2025 to July 2025, the comics are designed to tee up a broader consumer products partnership between the companies that will lead to co-branded apparel, toys and collectibles featuring Sonic and a variety of DC characters. The first of these products will roll out in late 2025.

  • Canal+ has acquired Grisù (52 x 12 minutes) from Mondo TV France, which co-produces the CG-animated preschool series about a little dragon who wants to become a firefighter with Toon2Tango, ZDF Studios and Calidra. The broadcaster hasn’t set a premiere date yet, but Grisù will air on Canal+ Kids.
