- Dr. Seuss Enterprises has elevated Ellie Terveen (pictured) from senior director of publishing and sales to VP of operations. Her new remit is to lead global licensing, publishing, retail and digital business for the company, which has been focusing on YouTube growth and a strategy to age down its characters lately.
- With Random House’s acquisition of BOOM! Studios now complete, former Hasbro exec Michael Kelly has been brought in to oversee marketing, sales and operations as BOOM!’s publisher. Kelly spent more than 17 years at Hasbro in roles including franchise creative lead for G.I. Joe and VP of global publishing.
- According to her LinkedIn page, Bethan Garton is starting a new career chapter at Cloudco Entertainment, managing retail business in the EMEA region for the company’s portfolio of brands. She has nearly two decades of licensing industry experience, and is coming off a seven-year run at UK-based agency The Point.1888, where she most recently served as chief commercial officer.
