- The LEGO Group and Amazon MGM Studios are collaborating on three new construction sets inspired by the Netflix tween/teen series Wednesday. The collection will roll out to retailers across North America in October (just in time for Halloween), featuring a 702-piece Wednesday Addams figure, a LEGO rendition of the character’s dorm room, and a pair of BrickHeadz models.
- Fanatics-owned collectibles company Topps has expanded the scope of an existing Star Wars-only deal it signed in 2021 with Disney Consumer Products to now also include global trading card rights to Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters. New products will begin to drop in Q1 next year, starting with a Topps Finest booster pack featuring X-Men ’97.
- San Diego’s Bonkers Toys has tapped Canspan BMG to manage all of its digital marketing during the holiday buying season. Canspan will leverage several of Bonkers’ licensed brands in this Q4 push, including Skibidi Toilet, Lankybox, Moriah, Ninja Kids and Aphmau. Bonkers’ products are sold worldwide through retailers including Walmart, Target and Amazon.
