Shopify is building new commerce options for Roblox, and MGA has signed Maurizio Distefano Advisory to rep its brands in Italy.

  • Roblox is working with Shopify to beta-test an e-commerce integration later this year that will allow creators and brands to sell physical items to Roblox users while they’re gaming on the platform. Players will also receive a digital replica of the item for their custom avatars to use. 

 

  • MGA Entertainment has tapped Italy’s Maurizio Distefano Advisory to represent brands such as Bratz, Rainbow High, Little Tikes and L.O.L. Surprise! in the region. The licensing agency has operated in the Italian market for more than 20 years and already manages business for CoComelon, Blippi, Bing, Little Angel and Gigantosaurus. 

 

  • Jakks Pacific’s costume division has acquired global licensing rights to Inner Sloth’s hit social deduction mobile game Among Us. Disguise will design, manufacture and distribute a new range of costumes and accessories for kids and adults based on the game’s quirky astronauts for Halloween 2025. Among Us launched in 2018 and is set in deep space, where players must discover which of their suspicious crewmates is actually an imposter on a mission to eliminate everyone else.
