  • Hasbro has struck a licensing deal with LA-based toyco The Loyal Subjects to resurrect several legacy toy brands at retail next year. Under the agreement, TLS has obtained the rights to manufacture new figures for Rom the Spaceknight (1979, pictured), Jem and The Holograms (1985), M.A.S.K. (1985) and My Pet Monster (1986). The company orchestrated similar toy relaunches last year for Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake by reproducing the brands’ original doll designs.

  • The Pinkfong Company has signed a new exclusive content partnership for in-flight entertainment with California’s Anuvu that will bring more than eight hours of its content to various Asian and North American airlines, starting in November. The package includes 46 compilations of songs and stories (featuring fan-favorites like Baby Shark) plus two feature films—Pinkfong Sing-Along Movie 1: Space Adventure and Pinkfong Sing-Along Movie 2: Wonderstar Concert.

  • Ravensburger has announced the next card set for its popular Disney Lorcana TCG. Slated to hit retail on November 15, Azurite Sea will introduce multiple characters from Big Hero 6 and Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers to the game. There’s been strong demand in the TCG market for Lorcana, which charted seven times on eBay’s TCGPlayer wholesale and e-commerce platform last December.
